SEPTEMBER 3:
Opening Meeting (all non-members and guests, including male guests) are welcome to attend this meeting,
$5 charge for non-members and guests
Topic: Brain Changes: Symptoms of and how to support those with brain changes.
Speaker: Dr. Karen D. Sullivan: an award winning board certified neuropsychologist; recipient of the Moore County Community Foundation Woman of the Year award; author of the book, I Care For Your Brain: Interactive Stroke Recovery Guide; and the founder of the non-profit foundation Still Us.
*We will be collecting school supplies for West Elementary School: Needed--#2 pencils, antiseptic wipes, glue sticks, tissues, & zip lock bags (all sizes) Just bring your donations to the meeting.
**September 19 COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT: Rise Against Hunger 8:30-11 AM. Sign-up for BOTH Set-up and Volunteer Shift for the 8-9AM and 9-11AM time slots. You will be asked to accept a waiver. Meet in the Chapel in the Pines parking lot at 7:30 AM. to caravan/car pool. Please email Wof7Lakes@gmail.com to let us know you registered!

OCTOBER 1: (Breast Cancer Awareness Month-Members are encouraged to wear pink)
Topic: Emergency Prep
Speaker: 7 Lakes Fire and Rescue Chief David Alston. Chief Alston will present information on storm and fire emergencies.
*Fire Safety Items will be raffled: Smoke Detectors, Fire Blankets, and Fire Extinguishers

NOVEMBER 5:
Topic: Food Insecurity
Speaker: Ciara Sheerin of 7 Sparrows, will present information on the hunger issues that impact our local community members.
*We will be collecting food & toiletries for 7 Sparrows
**November 11 COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT: American Red Cross Blood Drive, click on the link to schedule a time to donate. 9AM-1:30 PM at the Seven Lakes North Side Club House

DECEMBER 3: ($5 fee)
We will open our meeting with musical entertainment by Bella Voce, an award winning women's ensemble, directed by Dr. Michal Martin, Director of Choirs at Pinecrest High School.
Topic: Salty Boards Charcuterie Boards Demonstration ($5 fee)
Speaker: Sarah Reagan, owner of Salty Boards will demonstrate the art of creating charcuterie boards. Members and guests will have an opportunity to sample her delicious boards.
December 4-Set-up for Pancake Breakfast
December 5: ANNUAL HOLIDAY PANCAKE BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER at the North Side Club House 8:00 – 11:00 am. Bring the children to meet Santa!
*We will be collecting NEW Pre-school Books for local daycares

Topic: The Linus Project
Speaker: Linda Stevens is the director of the Linus Project, a non-profit organization that makes blankets for children in need.

Speaker: Dr. Jeanissa Bowden- owns Bowden's Natural Health Solutions. She specializes in natural and naturopathic care focusing on the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

Topic: Artificial Intelligence: Friend or Foe
Speaker: David Hughes, will present information on the risks associated with Artificial Intelligence
